Horses that I Have Sold:
Silver and Kody came together to be sold. I had to put time on Kody but Silver was a very nice all around horse. She was a people pleaser. I sold Silver in 9 weeks and I am not sure why it took so long for her to sell. She has been my longest selling horse so far. Many people have told me it's because she is a Grey but I don't believe color should ever make your decision on any horse. That is solely my belief. I had the pleasure of having her for half of the summer and we were often like Bonnie and Clyde. We were always up to something new. She was a blast to work with and she has been with her new owner for 2 years now and they are very happy together. Compensation was $250+ Gas reimbursements. She was Sold for $1500
Joey is a grey QH gelding. His owner was extremely scared of him because of his size and she let him push her around and over time it became dangerous for his owner. I had him 7 weeks. I did some ground manner refreshing and put him in his place and in 2 weeks he wouldn't look at his owner with any intent to harm. Sara(his owner) was afraid as soon as he came home he would turn back to his old ways. I told her that if you let him he probably would. Horses are pack animals and naturally look to someone to be the leader and if you will not be, they will be. Period, end of story. He went to a young girl that wanted to use him a speed horse in 4-h and he is a very happy boy. I sold him 7 weeks and price was $800. Compensation was $500 including training time.
Rosco is a 18 years old Tennessee Walking Horse gelding. His owner contacted me to sell him for her because she was not a people person. She wanted to sell him, he was 14.2h and had started to get sway back and she needed something bigger that could carry her weight. He was a very nice horse. Kids safe, road safe, and all around a nice horse. I sold him in 4 weeks and he Sold for $800. Compensation was a very nice Tex Tan saddle that I sold.
Sold for $1000 made $150 for selling. Sold in 1 month. Was not boarded with me is the reason for the longer sale time. Went to a very good 4-h home. Congrats Diane and family.
Zeus came to me on June 16th to be sold. He is 20 years old and a great little horse. As an appoloosa he was very bull headed but we worked through it. He was sold 9 days after coming to me to a wonderful lady with another appaloosa gelding. She has sent me many pics of Zeus and has told me that he is everything she wanted. Congratulations to Tiffany.
Skip The Cadbury came to me on 7/5/13 to be sold. He was a nice horse. First ride he tossed me at a canter. 2nd ride he tried again and so on. He was not a bad horse by any means. He needed someone to tell him it is not going to fly and after a few rides I had him cantering perfectly without the buck. If he knew you were not me he would buck also. I sold him to a friend that got on and cantered him and he did awesome. He is in his forever home and I could not ask for a better person to own him. Compensation was a saddle.
